History
Richard J. Willhoit,
President of Estrella Associates, Inc. (EAI), has been
active in the real estate industry in San Luis Obispo
County for over 20 years. His experience includes land
development, real estate sales and management. Based
in Paso Robles, California, EAI has survived the economic
cycles due to its overall diversity. The current members
of the EAI team have worked in real estate, land development,
construction management, general contracting, accounting,
office management and hospitality management. (Please
see Staff Bios.) The current team has been assembled
because of their complementary backgrounds and goals.
We feel that EAI’s experience in land development,
home construction and management provides us with a
particular strength in our customer service ability
and application. Having dealt with the needs of merchant
builders, homeowners and tenants, we have accumulated
the insight and motivation to develop and maintain a
high quality product. This is accomplished through the
use of a strong Quality Assurance Program and firm dedication
to customer service.
EAI has been involved in a wide variety of construction
and development projects in Paso Robles, California.
A sample of projects by the EAI team:
- River Oaks: Gained entitlements for , and currently
developing a 200-acre master planned community. The
community is comprised of seven residential neighborhoods
totaling 481 homes, a golf course and restaurant, Hot Springs & Spa, neighborhood
commercial center, and a K-5 elementary school.
- The
Cottages at River Oaks: A 90
home neighborhood of which 60
homes are built to the EnergyStar® and
Comfort Wise designations and
30
homes are built
using the innovative Insulated
Concrete Form (ICF) construction
process.
- Almond Springs Estates: Gained annexation, entitlements
and developed 29 one-acre single-family lots and 2 three-acre
multi-family zoned lots.
- The Summit at Rolling Hills: Gained annexation, entitlements
and developed 81 lots (1/2 acre each).
- Tract 2214: Secured the Tract Map entitlements for
a 90 unit, single family detached, small lot planned
development.
