Dick Willhoit
President

Dick Willhoit has been sole proprietor and/or president of EAI (Estrella Associates) since its origin in 1987. It has been Dick’s goal, since the inception of the company, to create a team approach to the development and building industry. He has approached this through his association with the Home Builders Association of the Central Coast and business affiliations with its members. Dick serves on several committees and is a past president of the Association. With an extensive knowledge in land acquisition, procuring entitlements, land development, management of residential properties, and management of homeowner associations, it is Dick’s vision that leads this team to aspire to excellence in quality, new concepts, customer satisfaction, and profitability.

 

 

 

Wes Willhoit
Project Manager

Wes Willhoit attended Cuesta College and Pacific Lutheran University in Tacoma, Washington, with a concentration in Business Administration. He has seven years of comprehensive exposure to the real estate development business. Wes is a member of the Urban Land Institute and holds certificates with ULI in Real Estate Development and Real Estate Finance. Wes also holds two California Contractor’s Licenses; General Engineering and General Building.  He has gained a sound knowledge in creating financial analyses for development projects. As Project Manager, He manages all aspects of site development and vertical construction for the company.

 

 

 

 

Matt Thomsen
Assistant Project Manager

Matt Thomsen is a graduate of the University of Oregon with a B.S. in Political Science and a minor in Economics. He assists in all aspects of site development and construction for EAI. Matt has been a member of the team since 2004.

 

 

 

 

 

Angela Jones
Community Manager

Angela Jones comes to us with a degree from the University of Puget Sound in Business & Public Administration with an international emphasis. After six years of customer service with the Phoenician Resort in Scottsdale, AZ, she moved to Paso Robles and opened two local coffee shops prior to joining the EAI team in the fall of 2004. Angela is currently the Community Manager for the River Oaks Master Planned Community. Angela has attained the designation of Certified Community Association Manager designation from the California Association of Community Managers.


 

 

 

Gloria Willhoit

Gloria was a 21-year veteran elementary school teacher with the Panama Buena Vista School District in Bakersfield, before relocating to Paso Robles. She now spends her time assisting Dick Willhoit with the sales of The Cottages.

 

 

 

 

Pam Lyon
Director of Hospitality Services

A 27-year native of San Luis Obispo County, Pam holds an undergraduate degree in journalism and has held key marketing positions within California’s hospitality industry. Pam’s experience includes all aspects of sales and marketing locally, nationally and internationally. As a restaurant proprietor, Pam coordinated all aspects of daily operations, human resource, security and safety training, inventory, accounts payable/receivable, and guest relations. Having served on numerous boards and committees throughout the County, Pam has long been dedicated to rendering the highest levels of professional service and community involvement. Pam joined the EAI team in early 2005 as General Manager of the River Oaks Golf Course/Seasons Restaurant. She now adds the River Oaks Hot Springs & Spa to her area of responsibility.

 

 

Liz Lopez Byrnes
Marketing & Sales

Liz comes to EAI with over 20 years in the real estate industry. She worked with a housing developer in San Luis Obispo for over 16 years before joining the Estrella team in April 2005. Liz handles marketing and sales for EAI. She is a licensed Real Estate Salesperson and a Notary Public. She’s served on numerous local non-profit boards including SLO Literacy Council, Big Brothers Big Sisters of SLO County (founding member), and the Latino Outreach Council. Liz has attained the Certified New Home Marketing Professional (CMP) designation from the National Association of Home Builders.
