Relay for Life, 24-Hour American Cancer Society Walk
June 26 – 27, 2010
9:00 AM, Saturday – 9:00 AM, Sunday
“Celebrate, Remember and Fight Back”, is the vision for American Cancer Society Relay for Life, as cancer survivors, friends and family come together in Paso Robles against cancer. River Oaks Hot Springs in Paso Robles will be the host site for the 24-Hour Relay for Life.
Teams will take turns running or walking laps to help raise money to support the fight against cancer. Donations will go towards research, advocacy, education and services provided by the American Cancer Society for those in need.
The event is held overnight as a reminder that cancer never sleeps. A survivors’ lap and luminary’s ceremony will be a time to remember those who have experienced cancer, both the survivors and those who have been lost.
For more information about getting involved in your community’s Relay for Life and joining the fight against cancer visit: http://main.acsevents.org/site/TR?pg=entry&fr_id=20501
