River Oaks Golf Course is a unique “6-hole Player Development” course (5 par 3’s and 1 par 4) – an innovative concept to growing the game of golf! North County’s only executive golf course offers 3 sets of tees with different angles of approach and distances to the greens, giving the player a full 18 hole experience. This concept is beneficial to all golfers – advanced, intermediate, beginners, juniors, seniors and women alike. River Oaks Golf Course is ideal for golfers practicing their short game and the ‘time-starved’ golfer looking for a quick round.
Established July 2004, River Oaks Golf Course design, layout and style were created by PGA Professionals Rudy Duran and Gary Wishon, with a backdrop of century-old oak trees, sparkling lakes and gently rolling terrain.
River Oaks has earned a reputation amongst golfers of all levels as a great facility where golfers can enjoy a superior design, imaginative routing and beautiful year-round golf conditions on this Central Coast gem. In addition to hosting challenging greens with subtle breaks, there are two additional practice greens that include a bunker and chipping area.
We are an ideal venue for family, company or wedding party tournaments as the less accomplished golfers won’t be overwhelmed by 550 yard holes and it won’t take you all day to play. For those who don’t golf, our River Oaks Hot Springs Spa is right next door!
